Back from the Beach
We are back from our two weeks at the beach. the washer/dryer has been running continuously since about 1pm- and it is close to midnight! We had a lot of fun, first at the Macs beautiful "four Seasons" and then next door with the Fifes from AZ. The Weather was not really ideal to say the least, so we had to get a little creative and make some unusual beach fun. It's all good, and the sun will come out, tomorrow. I'll post some pics soon- too late to figure out how to get them here from my phone tonight!

Thanks to Jen, Again! and Happy Fathers Day!!
So, once again my oldest friend Jen has inspired me to do something. I have pretty much stopped with my blogging since facebook. I haven't scrapped in years. And I generally forget to write in my journal since I am so busy tweeting, or posting on facebook! but I feel like I am missing out on journaling and recording some important things from my life (or even the not so important but still possibly interesting to posterity). I do miss scrapping sometimes, and I feel like memories and pictures are getting away from me- only in cyberspace, but what if some massive crash or electrical failure happens and there is no Geek squad to be found!? So I've been inspired by Jen, Again, to start "journaling" in my blog and at least once a year have it printed up into a book. What about you? What are your thoughts? I hope everyone had a wonderful fathers day! I love restful sundays. Today driving home from church w my daughter, we pulled up into the garage(dad and the boys were already home), and I just felt the calm, that great after church restful time! I said to my daughter, "I really love sundays, don't you?" , why? "because they are so mellow and restful" um okay mom(rolling eyes). Yeah, I know when you are a kid, restful days are not really what you look forward to! but I love them! Today I never really got a chance for a long Rest, but I did get to can two more batches of apricot jam, finish baking 3 loaves of bread, shop vac the back patio, switch over a load of laundry,and rest a little before I started on fathers day dinner!

long lost blogger
Hey I haven't blogged in so long -the one template format I used to use is changed and now I dont know how to change it! help! april I need you to come over and make my blog pretty! pretty please!!! We are having a super fun long memorial weekend. Beach on sat with the Fifes from AZ hanging out with sheppy and Jens family. I love the beach so much! no pics though! last night sunday night family night with Fifes and Hunsakers and today pool day. We are so lucky to live where we do! I love our weather. Eddie and I have been doing the HCG diet. we have lost 21 lbs combined. but we do miss some yummy food and look forward to getting back to it soon (we took a break day yesterday- it was nice!!!) heres a pic from Waikiki a few weeks ago! I am really behind on blogging- its all about facebook and twitter now! But I do miss seeing everyones blogs. Do you turn them into Albums? let me know how you like it and which company you use.
