The Dining Room Table! (McKhanns, DeFrancos, Hunsakers, Marquis, and Giles!)
We had a lot of fun and always look forward to this party. I spend days decorating and setting my tables (my family thinks I am a little nuts, especially when i set the tables days before the party and they have no where to eat!) I just love setting the table- it is the little bit of "proper English girl" in me!

Tristans' artistic photos

Tristan with his interesting mind and eye, borrowed my camera and had fun taking some closeup shots of everyday objects around our house. I thought his perspective was really cool and showed them in a way I have never seen them before. He is definitly the analytical , electronically inclined helper child of mine! He knows more about how to use my camera that I do. (He's 11!)

Halloween pics finally!

I am either getting too slow, or too cocky and think I can do way more than I really can, so I just keep adding more to my schedule! keeping up with my active family is no easy feat. so-- here are our halloween pics and thanksgiving pics to follow! as usual the kids had a really good time. The holidays are alot of fun. even in california where we have to decorate with fake colored leaves and fake trees and snow for christmas! it drops under 70 degrees and I am sipping hot cocoa and lighting the firelog!

Tristan got back on the soccer field!

I have decided I need a new post but i haven't really taken any exciting pics lately! Tristan is back to playing soccer after his broken clavicle yeah! (5 weeks and 5 consecutive "military" push ups later!- 5 push-ups was the drs. requirement that he would be strong enough to play again.) He got to play in his teams last game. (they lost by 1 point -bummer!) I tried not to look nervous and petrified on the sidelines while he was playing. Chaz has just started playing soccer with his middle school team also. I recently have started working as a substitute teacher! It is fun and interesting so far. We have a huge school district and although I prefer being at the local schools really close to my house- I am starting to try them all out. so far I have had a high school class and a middle school class. I am doing this till I figure out what the heck I want to do with my masters in Psychology! I think teaching a college Psych class would be really fun and I am looking into that at the local comm. college. I like being a working girl (and the Nordstrom sale is going on right now!) nice!

It was such great time, we were in baby heaven. Thanks so much girls for coming without your hubbies so we could see and hold and love those babies! we know their daddies missed them! Such a great idea Grandma Shelly! I think this should be a new family tradition!

Chaz has found another sport to love!

so chaz who rides his bike to school, plays soccer, then basketball, (alternating with football and baseball also), active in boy scouts every week; decided that he would add another new sport to his (our!) life; Volleyball! (We do play on our little backyard sand court sometimes but we make up our own rules!) He tried out for and played for the Middle school team in a one day tournament. It was fun to watch him playing a new sport! There is just not enough time in the day for all the fun things that can be done is there?
